Principal's Welcome

Hello Ottawa Families,

I am honored to serve as the principal of Ottawa Elementary and to be part of such an incredible school community. At Ottawa, we live by our motto: TEAM – Together Everyone Achieves More. This belief guides everything we do, and it shows in the way our staff, students, and families work together to help every child thrive.

Our mission is to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where students grow not only academically but also socially and emotionally. Each day, our dedicated staff works as a TEAM to support and empower students to reach for the stars and achieve their highest potential.

The 2025-2026 school theme is "Ottawa is Out of this World!"  We are excited to take our learning to new heights as we explore, discover, and grow together. Just like space explorers, we’ll face challenges with courage, celebrate big and small victories, and stay curious about the world—and universe—around us.

We are proud to have a strong PTO and incredible community partnerships that help make Ottawa such a special place. Throughout the year, we’ll host a variety of events that bring us together and strengthen our sense of family. We encourage all families to get involved—whether by volunteering, attending events, or simply staying connected—we welcome you to be a part of your child’s journey.
