Principal's Welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our school community! Petoskey High School is noted for our strong tradition of excellence and a community that cares deeply about the success of our students.

Our school is proud to provide students with a wide range of opportunities to challenge themselves, discover their interests, and prepare for their futures. With multiple Advanced Placement courses, Career and Technical Education programs, and dual enrollment opportunities, we are committed to offering rigorous and meaningful learning experiences that meet students where they are and help them reach where they want to go. Our continued designation as a Top High School by U.S. News & World Report is one reflection of our academic success. 

We also believe that some of the most important learning happens beyond the classroom. Our extracurricular clubs, activities, athletics, and other student organizations provide opportunities for students to build friendships, develop leadership skills, discover new passions, and find a sense of belonging. I encourage every student to get involved, try something new, and make the most of all that our school has to offer.

As we look ahead, my goal is to build upon the strengths that have made our school successful while continuing to look for ways to grow and improve. Our Full Value Agreement and Northmen P.R.I.D.E. principles will continue to be our foundation. I am committed to supporting high expectations for all students, celebrating student accomplishments, and creating an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and capable of achieving their goals. 

None of this is possible without the support of our families and community. We are fortunate to have a community that invests in our students and believes in the importance of education. I look forward to strengthening those partnerships and working together to ensure our students have every opportunity to succeed.
