Principal's Welcome

Hello Ottawa Families,

I am honored to serve as the principal of Ottawa Elementary and to be part of such an incredible school community. At Ottawa, we live by our motto: TEAM – Together Everyone Achieves More. This belief guides everything we do and is reflected in the way our staff, students, and families work together to help every child thrive.

Our mission is to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Each day, our dedicated staff works as a TEAM to support and empower students to reach their highest potential.

The 2026–2027 school theme is “Under the Sea – Together We Make Waves: Dive In, Believe, Achieve.” We are excited to dive into a year of discovery, growth, and connection. Together, we will explore new depths, support one another through challenges, and celebrate every achievement along the way.

We are proud of our strong PTO and the many community partnerships that help make Ottawa such a special place. Throughout the year, we will host a variety of events that bring us together and strengthen our sense of community. We encourage all families to get involved—whether by volunteering, attending events, or staying connected.  Your presence makes a meaningful difference in your child’s experience.
