Thank you for choosing the Public Schools of Petoskey! We are committed to providing an excellent education to all students.
Enrollments are handled at the Spitler Administration Building, 1130 Howard Street, Petoskey, MI.
Preschool
Kindergarten
Kindergarten registration for the 2026/27 school year will open February 1st.
Elementary School Tours:
March 4th & 24th : Central & Ottawa
March 5th & 25th : Lincoln & Sheridan
Tours will take place between 5:00 and 6:00pm.
School placements will be made in June.
Teacher placements will be made in August.
Grades 1-12
Please use this pre-registration link for enrollment. Once submitted, your child's information will be reviewed by school staff. If approved, you will receive instructions via email on next steps.
Required Documentation
- Up-to-date immunization records (if moving in from another state)
- Residency documentation (must present 2)
-- Must show parent/guardian name and physical address
-- Drivers License and property tax bill, lease/rental agreement or current utility bill - Birth certificate
- Most recent IEP and MET report, if applicable
- Custody agreement, if applicable
- High School Students - transcript of grades from previous school
