Challenge Day History at PHS

Petoskey High School has hosted two Challenge Days. The first was in November of 2007, the second was in December of 2008.

In the spring of 2008, approximately 50 students attended a Challenge Day Camp. The format followed our Communication Camp, but was shorter and ended with time to focus on creating solutions to problems identified by the student body.

Following the camp, several of the ideas were implemented with varying success.

In the spring of 2009, a follow-up meeting took place and students came up with ideas on how to increase the positive attitude and atmosphere of the school. After the list was generated, students created groups and began planning how to make their activity happen.
