| Welcome to Kindergarten! We are always busy in Kindergarten learning new things. Right now we are learning Zoo Phonics! I’m so excited that you stopped by for a visit! My name is Rebecca Mattingly. I teach all day every day Kindergarten at Sheridan Elementary in Petoskey, MI. I was born and raised in Petoskey, MI. I am the youngest of five girls. After graduating from PHS in 1990, I headed for Aquinas College in Grand Rapids. I spent two years at Aquinas in the school of education. Western Michigan University was the next step in my learning career. I transferred to WMU where I acquired my early childhood (ZA) endorsement. My Masters degree is from Grand Valley State. This is my 14th year teaching. This is my 11th year teaching in the Public Schools of Petoskey. Out of all grade levels I’ve taught, I love Kindergarten the best! My husband Todd and I live in Petoskey with our son Jonah. We love to camp, boat, hike, bike ride and cook! |
