Mr. Jorgensen Rm 307
Class Procedures
- Write
down assignments in your assignment books each day.
Write down everything that I write on the white board (even if you
have completed the assignment). This
will be part of your notebook grade.
- You
must keep an organized notebook. Grades
will be assigned to completed notebooks.
- Homework
is to be passed to the left when collected. No late
homework.
- Homework
that is shared or copied will result in the grade also being shared.
Each student will receive ½ credit.
Do not copy or let your paper be copied.
If you work together and your
answers are the same I assume this is shared work and ½ credit will result.
- Cheating
on a quiz or test will result in a zero.
- Responsible
students may choose lab partners or names may be picked out of a shoebox.
- Missed
assignments- you may find what you have missed by checking my website,
classroom assignment red folder, or friend’s assignment book.
I will gladly help you get anything you need after class.
It is your responsibility to get this information. If you know you will be gone ahead of time (Example:
Sports) you must pick up work early. Sports
activities do not change when assignments are due.
- Work
may be written in #2 Pencil. Blue
or Black ink may also be used or you will get it back (zero credit).
- The
bell does not dismiss class. Please
remain seated until I dismiss class. Please do not line up at the door.
- When
getting help before or after school you must sign in using the sign in sheet
on my desk.
- If
you receive a detention it will need to be made up within a week.
If you do not come in your time will double weekly.
- Lab
Performance will be part of each lab grade. If you are unsafe in lab you will lose points and have
to do the lab before school alone.
- Students
will need to write using complete sentences. Sentences need a capital letter and punctuation.
Fragments will not be accepted.
- Students
may go to the bathroom during class but must make up the time.
- I
will be available before and after school to help you (7:30- 8:10 AM and
3:10-3:45 PM). A weekly
schedule will be on my white board showing any exceptions.
