Rules

1.  Be respectful of yourself, others, and all material.

2.  Have good attendance and be punctual.

3.  Bring the necessary materials to and from class ( pen/pencil, paper/notebook, text book(s), reading book, homework, etc…).  If you need to leave the class to retrieve material, you will be marked Tardy for the class period.

4.  The computers are for educational purposes, not entertainment.  If you have extra time during the class period, you are to read from your free reading material during that time as you are expected to bring it daily.

5.  Late work may be accepted for 10% off for each day late down to 50% off.  After any assignment is late 10 school days, it is no longer acceptable.  The teacher reserves the right to require an assignment on time with no acceptance of late work.

6.  Passes are allowed through the use of the Petoskey planner.

7.  All school rules apply and will be enforced. 

Any violations will be dealt with using the guides set forth in the student planner.  Multiple violations will be dealt with more severely than first violations. 

Disabilities will be accommodated as designated through the plan set by parents, students, teachers, and administration.

Grading Scale:  93 -100% =   A      90 - 92% =       A-

      87 - 89% =   B+      83 - 86% =       B          80 - 82% =       B-

      77 - 79% =   C+      73 - 76% =       C          70 - 72% =       C-

     67 - 69% =    D+     63 - 66% =       D         60 - 62% =       D-

  00 - 59% =        E

 

25% Class work/Homework        75% Large Assessment

50% loss for late work    

Semester grades are calculated using percentages earned during each marking period with the exam counting for 20%.
