Project Description
In this phase we were asked to modify our car so it ran dependently on vegetable oil. Doing this would help to keep our environment clean and tidy while saving us money at the same time.
Adjustments
a. Runs solely on Bio Deisel
b. Implement heating mechanism to keep oil at and maintained at desired temperature
Scientific Research
Biodiesel would be used if needed in cold environments. With implementing the heater, fossil fuels would not have to be used to start or shut off engine. On cold days bio diesel may be implemented to get the engine running, but you would still be using 100% renewable resources, therefore not harming the environment around us. The heater would heat the oil, and keep it at our desired temperature of 190 degrees.
